END-TO-END ENCRYPTED Once you're paired, chat, nudges, game turns, photos and video are sealed on your phone and opened only on theirs. Our server passes them along and can't read them. When you pair, both phones show four emoji: if they match, nobody is sitting between you.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Sign in with Apple, name only. Twine never asks for your email. No ads, no ad tracking, no third-party analytics. The app counts a handful of anonymous milestones, like a first game finished, with no identifier attached. One-phone and same-room play need no account at all.
