Hanhoek: Sutra Copying

The Heart Sutra is free to copy from beginning to end.

Hanhoek is a sutra-copying (寫經) app. Trace each character over a faint guide with your finger or Apple Pencil; every character you write is saved on the device, and 다음 글자 moves on to the next.

CLASSICAL CHINESE WITH THE KOREAN READING Each phrase pairs the classical Chinese text with its Korean reading, character by character. Copy either the original or the reading.

A FEW CHARACTERS A DAY Set a daily goal; the home screen shows what is left today and how far the copy has come. Going back shows what you wrote.

DEDICATION AND YOUR COPY After the last character, write a dedication. The days and the dedication are kept, and the characters you wrote become a PDF of your own copy.

PAPER PRACTICE SHEETS Make A4 sheets with the text in faint ink to copy with a pen.
