Marbledesk is a marble run game for Mac, where you place bumpers, rails, boosters and portal pairs on the desktop, drop a marble and aim it into a cup. It lives in the menu bar with no Dock icon or main window, and it keeps all scores, layouts and saved clips on your machine with no network access. The standout detail is that window frames can serve as rails.

Marbledesk puts a marble run on your Mac.

Place bumpers, rails, boosters and portal pairs on the desktop, drop the marble, land it in the cup. Window frames can act as rails. After a score you can share a clip — redrawn, not a screen recording.

The app lives in the menu bar. There is no Dock icon and no main window. Drag the parts, double-click a rail to tilt it, keep score.

HOW YOU USE IT • On launch, rails, bumpers, the dropper and the cup are already on the desk • Click the menu bar icon to open Marbledesk • Add bumpers, rails, boosters or a portal pair within the brass budget • Place the dropper and the cup, then press Drop • The same part twice in a row does not count again • After a score: Share clip or Save clip • Double-click a rail or booster to rotate it • Optionally use other windows as rails, and open at login

WORKSHOP CLASSES Apprentice, Journeyman and Master set how much brass you may spend. Tighter is harder, not poorer.
