Med Locker: Medication Rounds

Med Locker locks the apps you reach for without thinking until you log your medications.

Most reminders are a notification you can swipe away in one second. In Med Locker, the reminder is the lock. When your round comes due, the apps you picked stay shut. Tap "I took it" and they open right back up.

How it works - Thirty minutes before a round, you get one reminder. - When the round comes due, the apps you picked lock. - Tap "I took it" and they open again, and Pip celebrates. - Can't take it right now? Tap "Not now" to push the round back 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours, or skip it for today. You can push it back as many times as you need. - After an hour, or when your next round starts, the lock ends on its own. There's no second reminder and no nagging. - Calls and texts stay open the whole time.

Organized like a nurse's med pass Med Locker was built by a former surgical ICU nurse who ran med passes. Most medication apps work pill by pill. Med Locker works by round: morning, noon, dinner and bedtime. Everything due at eight goes out at eight, and the round isn't done until it's all done. - Set up to four rounds a day, at the times you choose. - Put as many medications as you need on each round. - One tap logs the whole round. - Your rounds repeat every day.

Meet Pip Pip is the little capsule at the top of your Today screen. Take a round on time and he celebrates with a hop or a spin. Over a few good days he grows from steady to strong. Miss one and he rests. He never guilts you, and when he's down, the app tells you the way back.

Your medications stay on your phone You pay through the App Store like any app, so there's no separate Med Locker account to set up. Your medications and your dose log stay on your phone. Nothing is uploaded or shared with anyone. There are no ads and no tracking.

You're always in control You choose which apps lock, and you can always get out. "Not now" and "Skip today" are always there, and a skipped round is never shown in red.

What you need - An iPhone. - Screen Time access, so Med Locker can lock the apps you pick. Without it you still get your reminders, but nothing locks. - Notifications turned on.

Subscription - Yearly: $39.99 a year, with a 3 day free trial. - Weekly: $9.99 a week. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase, or when your free trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
