Notch: One Second a Day

Keep one second of every day. At the end of the year, watch the whole year as one film.

No account. No ads. Your diary stays on your iPhone.

Notch asks for one second a day. It takes a moment to record, and your film grows by itself.

RECORD THE DAY • Record in the app, or bring in a video from your library. • Choose the exact second on a filmstrip. The sound wave under it helps you find the laugh or the toast. • Make a portrait, landscape, or square film. Fit each clip or fill the frame.

WATCH YOUR FILM • Your days play in order, each with its date in the corner. • A grid of months shows each day you kept, and each day that still waits. • Write a note on a day, so you remember what the second holds. • On This Day brings back the same date from an earlier year.

KEEP THE HABIT • A daily reminder that stays quiet on a day you already filmed. • Widgets for the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. Tap an open day, and the camera opens.

SHARE IT • Export your film at full quality. Save it to Photos, or send it to anyone. • Start a journal for a year, a trip, a pregnancy, or the first year of a child.

NOTCH PRO Notch is free to use, with no time limit. Notch Pro adds: • Films with no Notch mark. • Backup to your own iCloud. • More than one journal at a time. • Quick Fill: fill missed days with videos from your library. • The film of any month, any year, or any range of dates.

Your clips stay yours, with or without Pro.

Notch Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, each month or each year. Payment goes to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel it in the settings of your Apple Account.
