YapCuts

You record. YapCuts edits. You post.

Record a take in the app, or pick one from your camera roll. YapCuts cuts the ums, the long pauses and the retakes, then adds captions in your style.

Every cut is listed, and you can restore any of them. You can also split, trim and delete clips on the timeline yourself.

What YapCuts cuts • Filler words like um and uh • Long pauses • Retakes, where you stopped and started a sentence again

Captions • Start from a caption look, then change the font, colour, highlight, motion and layout • Fix the spelling of any word • The preview and the export use the same caption engine, so your captions come out the way they look in the editor

Tracks and export Add B-roll, overlays and music on their own tracks. Export in up to 4K and save straight to Photos.

Your video stays on your iPhone YapCuts uploads only the sound of your take so it can be transcribed. Editing and exporting happen on your iPhone.

YapCuts Pro YapCuts needs a Pro subscription to cut and caption your videos. Pro includes 500 minutes of footage a month, billed monthly or yearly. Minutes are counted by the length of each take you upload. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
