Backgammoner: Play Backgammon

Backgammoner is backgammon the way it is played at the table: the full rules, the doubling cube, match play, a clock, and dice you can verify.

PLAY • Find an online match in seconds — a single game, or a match to 5, 7 or 11 points. • The doubling cube, played by the book. • Three speeds: Blitz, Standard and Casual. • Practise against three bot levels, Rookie, Challenger and Grandmaster, with no account needed. • Start as a guest. Create an account with Sign in with Apple or your email to keep your rating, your games and your friends.

LEARN • Every game ends with a recap: how you played, how lucky the dice were, and the moment the game turned. • Game Review grades every move with GNU Backgammon, shows the better play on the board, and tells you what each mistake cost. • Insights follow your level over time and show where you lose the most. • How to play: the rules as swipeable cards, one board per rule.

FAIR DICE • Every game's dice are committed before the first roll and can be checked afterwards, so a roll cannot be changed after the fact. • Analysis only ever looks at finished games. Nothing helps a player during play.

COMPETE • A rating that moves with every ranked game. • Leagues from Bronze to Grand Champion, with divisions to climb. • Global and friends leaderboards, and achievements along the way.

WITH FRIENDS • Add friends, invite them to a game, and get a notification when they invite you. • Rematch in one tap and keep the series score running.

Backgammoner Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or annual, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

Some opponents may be computer players.
