Known Ground

Known Ground is a private travel and spatial-memory app for the places you have explored, saved, photographed, and returned to.

Start a trip, walk through a city, save places for later, attach photos and notes, and let Known Ground build a calm map of your remembered ground. Trips become collections of visits, routes, photos, and memories instead of a list of pins.

Known Ground is designed for people who want travel to feel alive after it happens:

- See the places you have visited and the places still waiting nearby. - Keep trip photos connected to where they happened. - Save places for later, then turn them into remembered visits. - Add notes and photos to specific visits. - Import walking, running, hiking, or cycling routes from Apple Health. - Use Apple Watch to record a focused walk. - Search your memories by place, trip, note, photo context, or broad recall. - Open Known Ground memories from Spotlight. - Privately invite people to a trip and choose which memories to share, with owner, editor, and view-only access.

The app is intentionally quiet and privacy-minded. Your memories are built from your own places, photos, notes, routes, and Apple platform data. Known Ground does not include ads, social feeds, public sharing, or cross-app tracking.
