RYS – Record Your Screen

RYS records your Mac screen in full Retina quality — with system audio, your microphone and your webcam — and lets you polish the video right away: trim, add text and background music, then export an MP4 that is ready for YouTube.

RECORD • Full screen (any display) or a single window • Native Retina, 4K, 1080p or 720p at 30 / 60 fps • H.264 (recommended by YouTube) or HEVC · MP4 or MOV • System audio and microphone (choose the device) • Webcam bubble: round or rectangular, three sizes, drag it anywhere — it is recorded exactly as you see it • 3-2-1 countdown, menu-bar timer, global shortcut ⌃⌥R

EDIT • Split, trim the beginning or the end, delete parts, undo • Text overlays: font, size, color, background, shadow, fade, timing — drag to position • Background music: MP3 / M4A / AAC / WAV / AIFF, volume, start time, loop, fade-out • Original audio volume • Projects are saved automatically

EXPORT • YouTube-ready MP4: H.264 or HEVC, AAC stereo, constant 30 / 60 fps, fast start • Original size, 4K, 1080p or 720p

FREE AND PRO Free: recordings up to 5 minutes, export up to 1080p with a small RYS badge. RYS Pro (monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase): unlimited recording length, 4K export, no badge, and every future feature. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.

Requires macOS 15 or later. Screen Recording, Microphone and Camera permissions are requested on first use. The app never sends any data anywhere — everything stays on your Mac.
