Fluid Studio

Turn your Mac into a canvas of flowing color with Fluid Studio. Move your pointer through real-time fluid effects and explore eight distinct themes: Ultraviolet, Lagoon, Ember, Chrome, Water, Flame, Liquid Metal, and Dye.

INTERACTIVE FLUID ART Stir, swirl, and experiment with responsive fluid visuals powered by Metal. Adjust the controls to find your favorite look, then enter the full-screen visualizer for an immersive view. Press Escape to return to Studio.

OPTIONAL SNAPSHOT INSIDE THE VISUALIZER Water, Flame, and Liquid Metal can use a still screenshot as the background of the effect inside the Studio window or its full-screen visualizer. Select one of these themes from the Palette menu, then use Enable Capture / Retry to request screen-capture permission. After enabling permission in macOS System Settings, quit and reopen Studio if prompted. Refresh Desktop takes a new still snapshot. This is not live wallpaper and does not set or replace your macOS desktop wallpaper.

MENU BAR COMPANION Keep Studio running in the menu bar to prepare desktop snapshots. Choose where snapshots are saved using the macOS folder picker. You control whether capture is enabled and which folder is used.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account is required. Fluid Studio does not include analytics or send your desktop snapshots to the developer. Images stay in the folder you choose; folders managed by a cloud-sync service may sync according to your own settings.

Fluid Studio is a standalone visualizer. It does not install a macOS screen saver, replace the lock screen, or lock your Mac.
