Matchday is for the football you play with your group, once a week or every day.

It handles the boring parts so you can get on with playing. Set the kick-off, see who is in, let it draft two balanced teams, then log the goals as they go in. The score is always right, on every phone and on your watch, because every device works it out from the same list of goals.

ORGANISE THE GAME Create a group and share a join code. Everyone who joins claims their own player, so names and stats follow the person, not a row in someone's notes. Set a repeating fixture once and the next one is created automatically when the last one finishes.

BALANCED TEAMS, NOT ARGUMENTS Mark who is playing, then let Matchday draft the sides. It balances on position and form so you are not picking teams in the car park.

LIVE SCORE FROM YOUR WRIST Log goals and assists from your iPhone or straight from your Apple Watch, without taking your phone out. Tapped the wrong name? Undo it. Nothing is ever really deleted, so the record stays honest.

YOUR MATCH IN NUMBERS Start a session on your Apple Watch and see your heart rate, steps and distance during the match, then keep the summary with the result.

STATS THAT LAST Goals, assists, appearances, win rate, and a leaderboard for the group. Look at all time, this year, or the last ten games. Every player gets a rating out of ten worked out from the game itself, and man of the match is whoever tops it.
