Na rybach: Fishing Log

Na rybach (Polish for "out fishing") is a fishing logbook for iPhone and iPad. You record your trips and catches, and the app adds the weather, air pressure, wind and moon phase to them. All your trips, spots and personal bests in one place, season after season.

QUICK LOGGING AT THE WATER • A catch in a few taps: species, length, save. The time, place, trip, method and bait fill themselves in. • Photos, voice notes, favorite setups, up to four rods on a trip, missed bites, lost fish and lost lures. • An estimated weight for the length, for most species, from open scientific data. • Your own rules: enter size limits, bag limits and closed seasons for your waters, and quick logging checks the fish against them. • Catches from old photos: the date and place from the photo's metadata, the weather from an archive back to 2001.

WEATHER AND CONDITIONS • With each catch: temperature, pressure and its change, wind, cloud cover, precipitation and the moon phase. Without signal the weather is added later. • "Today at the Water": the forecast for your spot, pressure over the day, hour by hour, sun, moon and solunar periods. The last forecast stays in the app for trips without signal. • The barometer in your iPhone or iPad: the pressure during a trip against the forecast.

SPOTS • Private spots on a map: the way there, parking, photos, the wind and the shore it blows onto, and points within a spot (humps, drop-offs, snags), with a compass to walk back to a point. • An aerial photo of the spot for use without signal (GUGiK orthophoto, spots in Poland). • A reminder when you're at a spot, and sharing a spot as a file or a QR code. • You note the water's state on each trip, and "Check the water level" opens IMGW's public map in Safari.

TRIPS • Trip plans with the Calendar and packing lists, observations, a recast timer and a sunset reminder. • The trip in progress on the Lock Screen (Live Activity), Siri and Control Center. • Night mode for night sessions: the whole screen in red.

KNOWLEDGE AND STATISTICS • An atlas of 44 fish species with drawings, a "What Fish Is This?" key, an atlas of 12 knots, a species album and badges. • Statistics: fish, trips and species, personal bests and top baits.

YOUR DATA • Your logbook stays on your device: no account, no ads, no tracking. • Each device keeps its own logbook: move it from iPhone to iPad with a backup. • Backups (also automatic, e.g. to iCloud Drive, and encrypted with a password), CSV export and a PDF catch register for the season.

PLUS: IN-APP PURCHASE Everything above is free. Plus brings conclusions and planning from your own data: • When Fish Bite: your catches by pressure, wind, air and water temperature, moon, time of day and month, and lure color against the sky. • When to Go: the coming week rated by your own trips, and similar days: what caught fish in weather like today's. • Trip analyses, comparing baits, years and spots, extended season statistics. • The Catch Map, the Solunar Calendar, season goals and the Season Card. • Measuring a fish with the camera, and alternative app icons.

Plus for a year is an auto-renewable subscription. The first 14 days are free if your Apple Account hasn't had a Plus free trial before. The App Store charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or when the free trial ends, and the subscription renews every year unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the period (Settings → Plus → Manage Subscription in the app, or Subscriptions in your Apple Account settings). Plus forever is a one-time purchase. Both can be shared with your family through Family Sharing.
