Nomling turns your foldable into a hungry little monster. Its eyes live on the cover screen, its mouth lives inside. Unfold your iPhone and the mouth opens wide. Fold it shut and it CHOMPS – with sound and haptics.

HOW IT WORKS • Closed: the monster's eyes look around, follow your finger and the tilt of your iPhone. • Open: the inside of the screen becomes a mouth – teeth on the edges, the throat right at the hinge. • Tap inside the mouth to drop snacks, then fold shut to gobble them up.

FIVE MONSTERS • Zorp – three eyes, two antennae, one gold tooth • Gloop – a slimy cyclops • Ember – a lava dragon with a glowing throat • Abyss – a deep-sea angler that can't stop staring at its own light • Byte – a robot with LED eyes Swipe to switch.

LITTLE THINGS • Tap the face and it gets a fright, hold it and it growls. • Keep the face awake on the cover for 10 or 30 minutes, or always while charging. When nobody touches it, the monster dozes off and saves power.
