After a long day shooting with my beloved Sony camera and Zoom field recorder, sorting files and syncing sound was painful. It was a massive psychological barrier to editing. I made this little tool for myself, and it took that pain away. One problem deleted.

Your camera needs reference sound that overlaps with the separate recording. Codec support depends on macOS. A report lists matches, unmatched files and warnings.

Video is copied without re-encoding, with source metadata carried over where supported. Complete metadata, timecode and HDR preservation are not guaranteed. Try your own footage and check the results in your editor.

Output audio is uncompressed, so files can grow.
