UhWhat? is a fast, private voice recorder for ideas, reminders and little thoughts that cannot wait. One tap, start speaking, save. Listen and organize later.

QUICK CAPTURE ON IPHONE Open the app, tap the large microphone button and speak. Tap Stop and save when finished. Your original audio stays on your iPhone, even if transcription is unavailable.

APPLE WATCH CAPTURE Add the UhWhat? complication to a supported watch face and tap it to open the recorder. Record without carrying your iPhone. Notes are kept locally on the watch until they can be delivered to the paired iPhone. Transfers can take longer when your devices are offline.

YOUR NOTES, YOUR WAY • Play back the original audio whenever you need it. • Transcribe speech on-device in a supported language (optional permission and language availability required). • Edit and correct transcripts without changing the recording. • Browse the inbox by date, search saved transcripts and archive notes. • Export your audio (.m4a), transcript (.txt), or both using the iOS share sheet. • Start a recording from an iPhone Home Screen or Lock Screen widget.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking, and no developer cloud storing your voice notes. Your original audio and saved text stay on your own devices. Sharing is always initiated by you.
