The Seal of Dawn

Three centuries ago, the demon Malgrath was chained by the Seal of Dawn. Now the necromancer Vorn wants to break it, and only a handful of heroes from Brumeval stand in his way.

The Seal of Dawn is a turn-based tactical RPG in isometric pixel art. Height, terrain and positioning decide every battle.

CAMPAIGN • 28 chapters across five acts, with illustrated dialogue • Varied objectives: defeat every enemy, slay the leader, survive, escort an ally, break relics • Reinforcements and scripted lines in the middle of battle

HEROES • Seven playable heroes recruited along the story: Knight, Ranger, Cleric, Mage, Blade, Oracle and Engineer • Each class has five to six skills that unlock as you level up • Dagna builds barricades and turrets on the battlefield, while Lys protects your party and foresees enemy moves • From Act V, choose five of your seven heroes before each chapter

TACTICS • High ground adds damage and accuracy, and terrain slows, blocks or burns • Three-way battles where two enemy factions fight each other as much as they fight you • Terrain that changes mid-fight: floods, wildfires, rising lava, collapsing bridges • A forecast shows damage and hit chance before every action, and you can undo a move until you act • An enemy AI that targets the weak, finishes the wounded and keeps its distance

PROGRESSION • XP, levels, loot, gold and a shop with weapons and armor for every class • Four outfits per hero to unlock • Quest mode: send one to three heroes on short trials for XP, gold and loot, with up to 3 stars each
