Word Duel for iMessage is a games app that lets people challenge friends to four word and puzzle games inside Messages, in one-on-one or group chats. Players send their result as a bubble, and friends open it to play the same puzzle, with the bubble tracking scores and naming the leader. It stands out for having no accounts, ads or tracking, and each game keeps a board and clock that resume where a player left off.

Challenge your friends to four word and puzzle games without leaving Messages.

Pick a game, play it and send your result. Friends tap the bubble to play the exact same puzzle, and the bubble keeps score and crowns the leader. It works in one-on-one and group chats.

THE GAMES • Classic: guess the five-letter word in 6 tries. • Blindfold: 8 tries, but each guess only tells you how many letters are green, yellow and red. • Ladder: change one letter at a time to reach the target word, in as few moves as you can. • Path: drag from 1 through every square, hitting the numbers in order.

FAIR AND SQUARE • Everyone gets the identical puzzle, and the clock starts when you begin. • You can't see other players' boards until you've played, so there are no spoilers. • Leave halfway and your board and clock pick up where you left off.

NO ACCOUNTS, NO ADS Word Duel lives inside Messages. There are no accounts, ads or tracking.

Everyone in a match needs Word Duel installed.
