Aurora – Wallpaper Studio

Aurora is a wallpaper studio, not a gallery. Instead of choosing from other people's pictures, you make your own: abstract wallpapers drawn on your device, at the exact size of your screen, each with a light and a dark version.

Start from one of ten styles, from Folds and Peaks to Cloudscape and Rays, each with presets ready to use as they are. Then change the shape, the colours and the mood until it suits you. Press Surprise Me for something new, or open Variations and pick the one you like best.

On the Mac, set any wallpaper as your desktop picture in one click. It switches between light and dark with your Mac, can follow the sun through the day, and Aurora can put up a new one every hour or every day, either a fresh surprise or one from a collection. Aurora waits in the menu bar too, so you can change your desktop picture without opening the app.

On iPhone and iPad, save the light and dark versions to Photos and choose them in Settings, or let Shortcuts set a new Lock Screen each morning. On iPhone Duo, Aurora uses the whole display when it's open, and keeps its buttons in a rail down the side when it's closed.

Keep the ones worth keeping in collections that stay in step across iPhone, iPad and Mac with iCloud, and share a wallpaper or a whole collection as a file. Make the app your own with 14 themes, your choice of interface font and the text size you like.

Aurora does not require a Wells Code account and collects no data. Your wallpapers stay on your devices and in your private iCloud container when sync is enabled.
