BringThis: Potluck Sign Up

BringThis is a small tool for sorting who is bringing what.

Start with a name. Type "Sunday potluck" or "Class picnic" and you have an event board. No account is needed to get started.

Add what is needed. Plates, a salad, someone to bring the cooler. A name and a quantity are enough. Add a date and a place if you want, or leave them out.

Share when you are ready. The first time you share an invite, you sign in with Google or Apple. You get a link to send however you already talk to people.

Guests open the link. On the web, with nothing to install, or in the app. They sign in, tap Join event, and see the board.

They promise what they will bring. Each row shows what is still needed. A promise is confirmed only after the server has recorded it. Undo is a real cancellation.

Guests can add to the list if you allow it. If someone wants to bring a dessert that was not on the list, they can add it.

You set the rules. Who can join: anyone with the invite link, or ask me first. Guests can: add and contribute, contribute only, or view only. Who sees names: only me, or members of this event.

Good for an office potluck, a class picnic or a neighborhood BBQ. Anything where a group needs one list.

BringThis Pro, for hosts who run events often. Everything above is free for hosts and guests. BringThis Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly, that adds saved custom templates, scheduled reminder emails before an event, a CSV export of the board, and higher limits on open events and items. The price and renewal period are shown in the app before you buy; the subscription renews until you cancel it in your App Store account settings.

What BringThis does not do: No email or password login. Google and Apple sign-in only. No ads. No public directory. An event is reachable only by its link. No pretend urgency. Nothing counts down.
