Deck & Check: Chess + Cards

Deck & Check mixes chess with a colorful card game. Every turn starts with a card: match its color, number or symbol. A number card unlocks that rank and file, and you move one of your pieces standing there. Plan your chess, manage your hand and outsmart your opponent.

THREE MODES • Classic: chess comes first. Capture the enemy king to win, and don't stall: the first player to skip 8 turns without moving a piece loses. • Card Race: cards come first. Play your last card or capture the king to win. • Shared Deck: no hands, one deck in the middle. Draw a card: its number is how many moves you make. Draw Two brings back your lost pieces, and Reverse turns the board so you and your opponent swap armies.

SPECIAL CARDS • Reverse undoes your opponent's last move, and can even save your king. • Draw Two, Wild and number cards from 1 to 8. • Down to your king alone? Call "Last king!" before your opponent catches you.

PLAY YOUR WAY • Ranked: get matched with a player near your rating. Live games with 60-second turns, or turn-based games with 24 hours per move. • With friends: add friends with a friend code or link, challenge them in a private room, and track your head-to-head score and the friends leaderboard. Your friend can even join from a web browser. • Against the bot, or two players on one phone. • New to the game? A skippable guided first game and hints teach you the rules.

MORE • Sign in with Apple or Google to keep your rating and games on every device, or play as a guest. • Notifications when it's your turn. • Delete your account at any time from inside the app.
