À propos

FastEXIF shows everything a photo or video knows about itself: camera, lens, exposure, date, place and the technical details of the file. Everything is read on your computer — nothing is uploaded, no account, no sign-up.

THE ESSENTIALS AT A GLANCE Shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focal length and exposure compensation up top. Below, the camera and lens that took the shot, when and where.

PLACE AND GPS Coordinates become the name of the city, with shortcuts to open the spot on a map.

PHOTO AND VIDEO JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, the RAW formats of the major cameras, and MOV and MP4 video. For camera video, FastEXIF also reads the data the maker stores separately — camera, lens and exposure from Nikon, Canon, Sony and Atomos — and the metadata of Blackmagic RAW clips.

RIGHT FROM THE FINDER Right-click a file and choose FastEXIF. The Finder toolbar button adds a quick preview, copy summary, copy all metadata, copy coordinates, and save the metadata to a text file.
