À propos

Ascent is a weekly ladder of hand-built levels — and the rare line-clearing puzzle you can actually win, instead of playing on until you lose.

Gridspire is that game. Drag pieces onto an 8×8 grid and complete a row or column to clear it. What sets it apart is Ascent, and the cells that carry rules of their own.

ASCENT: THE CLIMB A weekly ladder that keeps escalating. Clear a level to rise; slip up and you retry the same one, so your progress always sticks. A brand-new set lands every Monday, and the climb never caps out. How high can you go?

CELLS WITH RULES OF THEIR OWN • Bomb: a fuse is ticking on the grid. Clear its line to defuse the bomb and bank a bonus before it goes off, or the run ends. • Gem: some levels are a collect goal. Gather every gem by clearing its line to win, instead of chasing a score. • Frost: a frosted cell resists clearing. A line through it still clears, but the cell survives and cracks, thawing after a couple more.

THREE WAYS TO PLAY • Ascent: the weekly ladder above, the one mode you can truly win. • Endless: no timer, no pressure. Play at your own pace and chase your best. • Time Attack: a fast-paced sprint with its own best score.

HOW IT PLAYS • Drag pieces from the tray onto an 8×8 grid • Complete any full row or column and it clears for points • Multi-line clears score a bonus: chain them for big runs • Combos: clear lines on back-to-back placements and your bonus keeps climbing • When no piece in the tray fits, the game ends. Beat your best and go again.

THREE DIFFICULTIES • Easy: smaller pieces, room to breathe • Normal: the classic balance • Hard: bigger pieces and a 1.5× score multiplier

AURORA GLASS A deep twilight world with a softly drifting aurora, frosted-glass panels and glossy candy tiles: an original look built for Gridspire.

BUILT TO FEEL GOOD • Candy tiles that shatter into falling fragments on a clear • Smooth drag-to-place with a fit / no-fit preview • A rich, luminous win celebration • Music and sound effects you can toggle any time

PAID ONCE, AND THAT IS ALL Gridspire costs one price up front and the transaction ends there. No ads anywhere, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions. Nothing interrupts a game to ask for money, and nothing expires.

PLAYS OFFLINE No wifi, no account, no waiting. Open it on a plane, in a queue, or winding down at night. The whole game lives on your phone.

ON IPHONE & IPAD Gridspire feels just as good on your phone as on the big iPad screen.
