En bref

Image Color Picker : HEX Code lets people sample the exact pixel color from a photo, a new shot, or the live camera, then view it as HEX, RGB, HSL, HSB or CMYK. It also checks text and background contrast with WCAG and APCA scores and previews how colors look to people with color blindness. What stands out is that photos stay on the device, with no account or ads.

Find the exact color in any photo. Press and drag on the image: a magnifier shows the precise pixel under your finger, and the moment you let go you get its HEX code and every other format you need.

PICK A COLOR • Open a photo, take a new one, or point the live camera at anything • Magnifier shows the exact pixel before you take it; pinch to zoom in • HEX, RGB, HSL, HSB and CMYK, each copied with one tap • The closest match from 4,336 named colors

CHECK IT IS READABLE • WCAG 2 contrast ratios with AA, AAA and AA large verdicts • APCA Lc scores, the perceptual model drafted for WCAG 3 • Test against white, black, or any background you choose • Get the nearest shade that passes AA when a color fails

SEE WHAT OTHERS SEE • Preview the pair for protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia and achromatopsia • Warns when two colors collapse into one for color-blind viewers

PALETTES • Extract a palette from a photo, or build one from several photos • Shades, tints and a picker to fine-tune any color • Save palettes and export them as CSS, JSON, PNG, SVG or Adobe ASE
