MeterFolio: Meter Swap Log

MeterFolio is a focused photo and protocol app for meter swaps. Built for electricians, metering contractors and field technicians who replace, install or remove electricity, water and heat meters – and need complete documentation for every job.

THE PROBLEM One photo is missing, the meter number is unreadable, the seal number is on a scrap of paper – and the utility asks for it again. MeterFolio makes sure everything is captured before you leave the meter.

HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a job: scan or type the work order number and add the location. 2. Pick a template: it defines which photos and entries are required. 3. Guided photos: old meter before, number & reading, installation, new meter, seals – step by step, with a flashlight button for dark meter cabinets. 4. Scan meter and seal numbers: barcodes and text are recognized on the device – you always see the value and confirm it before it is saved. 5. Completeness check: shows clearly what is still missing. It checks completeness, not technical correctness. 6. Export: one ZIP with a PDF protocol, CSV and JSON, the unaltered original photos and SHA-256 checksums. Share via Mail, Files or AirDrop.
