It covers genres from fantasy and sci-fi to horror and slice-of-life, and players can also build and publish their own worlds. Otherworld is interactive fiction you play by typing.
Pick a story, pick who you are, and write what you do next. You’re not limited to a list of choices. Lie to the queen. Skip the quest and open a bakery. See what happens.
Explore fantasy, sci-fi, romance, mystery, horror, survival, slice-of-life and more, including worlds created and shared by other players.
The characters you meet have their own personalities and remember how you’ve treated them. Hear them speak, discover new places and watch scenes come to life with artwork as you play.
What you do matters. Your inventory, relationships and quests carry through the story. And if you don’t like how something went, go back, rewrite your move and see where a different path takes you.
In Story Mode, the world pushes back. Risky moves can fail, choices have consequences and things won’t always go your way. In God Mode, you decide what happens.
Or build a world of your own. Create characters, places, quests and endings, then publish it for other people to play.
Otherworld is free to download, with optional Shard packs and monthly memberships. Plus and Premium include a monthly Shard allowance.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
