Quartet Games, Card Duels is a card comparison game for iPhone and iPad with six decks, including animals, mythic creatures, ponies, cars, vintage computers and daily-updated stock data. Players can duel the computer offline or invite friends over Wi-Fi or the internet, and the game has no ads, no in-app purchases and no account requirement.

Who wins the trick? Quartet Games is the multi-world card duel for iPhone and iPad – the classic comparison game with six worlds to play.

How to play: You only see your top card. Tap the stat you want to play. The better value wins both cards. On a tie, both go into the pot – the next trick takes it all. Whoever ends up with every card wins.

SIX DECKS, ALL FREE • Animals – from the naked mole-rat to the blue whale: weight, speed, lifespan • Mythic Creatures – dragons, dwarves and figures from legends around the world • Ponies – from the Welsh pony to the Shire horse: height, strength, stamina • Cars – what cars will look like when we grow up: speed, range, charging time • Vintage Computers – home computers of the pioneer years, 1972–1998 • Stock Battle – real market data, updated daily
