RIFTBEAM: Space Arcade

RIFTBEAM is a fast two-finger space arcade game: slice comets with your plasma beam, dodge planets and chase your next high score offline.

In RIFTBEAM you hold two crystals with a crackling plasma beam stretched between them. Sweep it through incoming comets, cut several at once for huge combos and slip past planets by a hair. Easy to understand, hard to master.

HOW IT PLAYS • Slice comets with the beam, but keep your crystals out of their path • Dodge planets: touching the beam ends the run • Let go of a crystal: it snaps back and fires a shockwave • Don't stretch too far: the beam flickers and snaps

ALWAYS FRESH • Waves with speed-ups, meteor showers and short breathers • Giant comets that burst into fragments you have to catch too • Every run is different, every level faster • Nine planet types, from earth-like worlds to ice moons

• 60-second sprint: Nonstop speed and a steady stream of comets, with no breathers • Bosses at 25,000, 50,000, 75,000 points and beyond: New colors, faster energy orbs and tougher attacks. Return the core like pinball while dodging planets
