Seamwise is a focused workroom tool for checking two matching pattern seams before cutting. Measure along the stitching line between corresponding notches, then enter the length of each section on both pieces.
Set the ease you intend for each section and a tolerance you choose. Seamwise shows the actual difference and flags sections that fall outside your limit, while keeping the full pair totals visible. Save a check before making adjustments; earlier measurements stay available to review or restore. Organize multiple seam pairs in a project and create a printable PDF matching sheet with the measurements, results, and your note.
Seamwise works entirely on your device. It does not scan a paper or PDF pattern, trace outlines, infer notches, or choose a sewing tolerance for you. Use your own pattern measurements and verify the physical fit before cutting.
