The GPX covers the whole ride. The voice memos start before any camera and run long. The video is islands, because batteries are finite. Syncline puts the union of all of it on a single timeline and lets video decorate that timeline rather than define it — so a ride with no footage at all still works, and a marker with no clip over it is a feature, not an error.

YOUR VOICE BECOMES THE INDEX

Narration is transcribed on your Mac — nothing is uploaded — and what you said becomes searchable text pinned to the road. The place you said "come back to this one" is a marker at that spot.

THE SHOTS YOU NEVER GOT

Markers with no camera running are collected in a Scout list: the corners, viewpoints and turnoffs you noticed and could not film. Take it with you next time.
