A LITTLE MODEL OF YOUR WORLD

In 1600, William Gilbert built a Terrella, a "little Earth." It was a small magnetized sphere he could hold in his hand and turn in order to understand how the real one pulled on itself. That's the idea here. Terrella is a small working model of your world: who is in it, what you've read, what you're building, and how all of it pulls on everything else.

RELATIONSHIPS THAT READ BOTH WAYS

Record once that someone works at a company, and her page says "works at" while the company's page says "employs". Every connection you make is visible from both ends, so nothing you write down is only findable if you remember where you put it.

FIND WHAT YOU COULDN'T FIND BEFORE

Who else do I know at this company? What came to me through this person? How am I connected to her? Why am I doing this project? Terrella answers questions a folder of notes can't: typed relationship sections, backlinks, two-hop discovery, and the connection path between any two things.

START FROM YOUR CONTACTS

Import your address book and a contact doesn't land as a flat record — it becomes a person, the organization they work for, and the link between them, so colleagues are discoverable through each other from the first minute. Imports fill in blanks only. A correction you made is never overwritten, and an import can always be removed again.
