The Purgatory Dungeon

You're dead. Bad news: you didn't exactly live a saint's life. Good news: there's a way out. It's just buried somewhere in a dungeon between Heaven and Hell, and someone down there really doesn't want you to find it.

The Purgatory Dungeon started as a board game on our own table. Now it fits in your pocket.

PLAY THE SINNERS Pick at least two souls and walk in together. The proud Warrior, the Mage who sold their soul for a spell, the Ranger who left friends behind in the woods, the Locksmith who robbed a temple, the Priest who never practiced what they preached. Everyone's got a sin and a trick up their sleeve. You lay the dungeon down one tile at a time. Grab treasure, rest by the fire, take the ladder to the floor below, smash through a wall with a secret passage. And keep your Defense up, because every monster and trap is coming for it.

OR BE THE PROBLEM Switch sides and play the Dungeon Lord. Hold your cards, let the Darkness build up, then drop a trap or a monster at the worst possible moment. Bad hand? Swap it. Want them sealed in forever? Cave the corridor in.

THE JUDGE IS WATCHING Every fight tips the Judge's scales toward Heaven or Hell. When the paths run out, the scales decide who wins. No appeals.
