en route is the trip app your host gives you. Going on a retreat, a workshop week or a group trip? Your host sets everything up and sends you an invite link. Open it, and the whole trip is on your phone.
You need an invite from your host to join a trip. Hosts sign in with their own account.
FOR GUESTS · Today: what's on now, what's later and what's tomorrow · The whole trip, day by day, always in the trip's own time zone · Updates from your host, with a "Got it" button so they know you've seen them · One group chat for everyone, and a private line to your host · Quick polls from your host, so the group can choose together · The address, Wi-Fi, house rules and nearest hospital in one place · Meet the team before you arrive: who's who and what they do · A shared photo album for the group · Works with no signal: the trip is saved on your phone · A read-only share link for someone not on the trip. It hides the address, room numbers, Wi-Fi and other guests' names · A short pre-trip form for dietary needs, an emergency contact and travel plans. Only your hosts see it
SOS, ONLY WHEN YOU MEAN IT A small SOS button sits at the top of every screen. Tap it, read who it will reach, then press and hold for two seconds. Let go early and nothing is sent. It sends an urgent alert to your hosts' phones, even during quiet hours. Hosts who choose to turn on SOS calls also get an automated phone call. en route does not contact emergency services. The same screen shows the local emergency number for where the trip is, like 112 in Iceland or 911 in the US, so you can call it first.
FOR HOSTS · Set up the schedule, key info and your team once · Your trip name, colour, font, logo and cover photo on every screen · Send an announcement and see who has tapped "Got it", by name · Hold to talk: say an announcement out loud, and it appears as text for you to check and send · See dietary needs, emergency contacts and arrival times in one place · Quiet hours: guest messages wait until morning, SOS still gets through
PRIVATE BY DESIGN Each trip is private to its guests and hosts. There is no public feed, and guests can't message each other privately. You can report a message or photo, hide a guest's posts, and leave a trip and delete your info from the app.
