Flapjaw: Talking Puppet is a games app where you move a googly-eyed puppet's mouth to make him chatter in nonsense speech, or play back your own recorded words in silly voices. Kids and families who like playful puppet play can dress him up with hats, glasses, and stickers. One detail stands out: on an iPhone Duo, opening and closing the phone itself works as his jaws.

Meet Flapjaw, a googly-eyed puppet with a lot to say and absolutely no idea what any of it means. You move his mouth. He does the talking.
FLUENT IN NONSENSE Move his mouth and he chatters away in his own made-up language, in an accent that changes every few sentences. Stop moving and he stops talking. You're the puppeteer, right down to the awkward pauses.
On iPhone and iPad, drag his jaw with a finger. On an iPhone Duo, open and close the phone itself: the two halves become his jaws.
YOUR WORDS, HIS VOICES Hold the mic and say something. Then move his mouth to hear it back in three ridiculous voices, each sillier than the last, and then it's gone. Even a perfectly normal sentence sounds deeply unserious coming out of a puppet in a party hat.
DRESS HIM UP Mix and match eyes, hats, glasses, noses, ears, teeth, tongues, and more. Give him a crown, a mustache, and a fly for a snack. Nobody said he had good taste.
Stick stickers all over his face, then move, resize, and rotate them into place. Pick a ready-made look or build your own, save the ones you like, shuffle everything for a surprise, and undo when you want to go back.
POKE AROUND Poke his eyes, lead them with your finger, tickle him, or tilt and shake your device to see him react. He has feelings. Mostly confusion.
KEEP HIS FACE Take a picture and it goes straight to your camera roll. Put his face on your Home Screen with a widget.
