Kanji Battle: Shogi Strategy is a board game where each kanji piece moves and attacks according to its meaning, with the goal of capturing the enemy King. The meaning of each kanji becomes the power of your piece. Move pieces across the board like in shogi and take the enemy King in this kanji strategy board game.
剣 (Sword) slashes the squares ahead. 弓 (Bow) shoots over your allies. 盾 (Shield) protects nearby comrades, 癒 (Heal) mends wounds, and 龍 (Dragon) soars across the board. Every kanji moves and fights according to its meaning. Combine them and discover your own way to win.
■ Easy to learn - Each turn, do just one thing: summon a kanji from your hand, or move one piece - After you act, your pieces automatically attack enemies in range - Build up Ki to summon powerful kanji - Defeat the opponent's King to win! A hands-on tutorial teaches you the basics by playing.
■ Power up with compounds Place 矛 (Spear) next to 盾 (Shield) to form 矛盾, or 龍 next to 王 for 龍王. When allied kanji that form a compound word stand side by side, both get stronger. Discover all 67 compounds!
■ Collect 95 kanji Pull the Gacha to grow your collection, with one free pull every day. Five rarities: N, R, SR, SSR, and UR. Duplicates turn into shards you can trade for any kanji you want.
■ Build your deck Choose 10 kinds of kanji from your collection to build your own deck. Save up to 5 decks. Go aggressive, play defense, or build around compounds. The strategy is yours.
■ Many ways to play - Vs CPU: three difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard) - 2 Players on one device: lay the phone on a table and sit face to face like a shogi board. Each player's hand faces them, so there's no need to turn the phone. - Three board sizes: 5×6, 7×7, and 9×9
