Kitchen Table Rummy is Rummy 500 the way your family plays it. Take your turn whenever you're ready on your own iPhone or iPad, pass one phone around the table, or play the computer.

PLAY TOGETHER FROM ANYWHERE Start a game, invite family and friends through Game Center, and take turns at your own pace. You get a notice when it's your turn, and a quick "since your last turn" recap shows what everyone else did while you were away.

PLAY THE COMPUTER Play against 1 to 3 computer players at Easy, Normal or Hard. No sign-in needed, you can leave and pick up right where you left off, and a hint is one tap away when you want one.

OR PASS ONE PHONE AROUND Pass and play needs no sign-in. After each turn the cards are covered and the app shows whose turn is next, so nobody peeks.

YOUR HOUSE RULES - Standard scoring: Aces 15 (1 when low in A-2-3), 10s and face cards 10, 2 to 9 face value - House scoring: Aces 15, 10s and face cards 10, everything else 5 - Custom card values - Play to 500 (or any target) or for a set number of rounds - Lay down before you draw, or only after - Choose whether taking just the top discard means you have to play it

THE CLASSIC GAME - 2 to 4 players, 7 cards each - Take any card from the discard pile along with everything above it - Lay down sets and runs, and lay off on anyone's melds - Aces low (A-2-3) or high (Q-K-A) - Cards you lay down count for you, and cards left in your hand count against you
