Vista: VR Video Player

Vista is a native Mac player for local VR180 and VR360 video. Open a movie, drag to look around, scroll or pinch to zoom, and recenter instantly. Playback stays on your Mac; Vista does not upload your movies.

Vista detects the viewing format when it can. If a scene looks wrong, choose the coverage, projection, stereo layout, or eye in the format controls. It supports mono, side-by-side, and top/bottom layouts, plus equirectangular and fisheye projection.

Native playback controls include timeline seeking, speed, volume, full screen, keyboard shortcuts, recent files, and system media keys. Vista can remember the view and qualifying resume position for each movie. Video Info shows source and playback details.

Vista opens local movie files supported by macOS AVFoundation, primarily MP4 and MOV. Codec support and high-resolution playback performance depend on your Mac and the source file. Vista requires Apple silicon and macOS 14 or later.
