Facet: Private Photo Gallery

Show someone your photos without worrying about what's next to them.

Facet is a separate photo gallery that keeps your private and sensitive photos out of the everyday view on its own. It sets aside documents and screenshots with personal details too. Open Facet instead of Photos whenever you hand your iPhone to someone.

Facet never moves, edits or deletes anything. Your photos stay where they are in the Photos app, and if you delete Facet, nothing changes.

YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR IPHONE Facet analyses your photos on your iPhone with Apple's built-in tools. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is sent to us. Facet has no account and shows no ads, and it doesn't track you. The App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected.

HOW IT WORKS • Library shows the photos that are comfortable to show anyone. • Photos Facet is confident are private go to Filtered. That includes revealing photos as well as documents and chats with personal details. • When Facet isn't sure, the photo goes to Review. Go through them one by one or sort many at once. • Each photo says why it was placed where it is, and your decision always wins. • Filtered and Review open only with Face ID or your passcode. • Kids Mode keeps Filtered and Review out of reach when a child has your phone. • Relaxed mode lets everyday beach and pool photos into Library.

GOOD TO KNOW • Facet works best with access to your whole library. • Turn on Sensitive Content Warning in iOS Settings for the most accurate results. Facet shows you where. • The first analysis of a large library takes a while. It runs while you use Facet and while your iPhone charges. • Photos only in iCloud are downloaded on Wi-Fi by default, analysed and then discarded. • Facet sorts the obvious photos itself and asks you about the rest. It isn't perfect, so check Review now and then.
