Farsight tells you the best time to leave for a drive.

Farsight finds your route, checks the forecast at each town for when you'll actually be there, looks at weather-service alerts, road reports, winter road conditions and rush-hour traffic, and recommends when to leave, with a short reason.

Where it works Trips anywhere in the lower 48 states and Alaska. Weather, weather alerts and traffic cover every route. Road reports come from state transportation departments, and coverage varies: crashes, closures and construction in 21 states (including Utah, Colorado, Arizona, California, Texas and Washington), construction only in 12 (including Florida), and none yet in 14.
