Fold & Fire: Sea Battle

Hide your fleet. Hunt theirs. Fire. The classic grid sea battle on a living night ocean, with real warships, shells that arc across the screen and a 3D film every time you send one to the bottom. Play the computer, pass the phone, or take on a friend online. No ads. No tracking.

DESIGNED FOR IPHONE DUO Half-fold your phone like a little laptop: enemy waters stand on the upright half, your fleet lies on the table, and each board fills its half of the screen. Your shells leave your ships on the lower half and arc across the fold into enemy waters; theirs come back over the top. In Pass & Play, close the phone to hide your board and hand it over. Opening it starts the next player's turn and shows them the shot that just landed on their fleet.

PLAYS ON EVERY IPHONE AND IPAD No foldable needed. The two boards sit side by side or stacked to fit your screen, and in Pass & Play a Start button handles the hand-off.

THE RULES YOU KNOW • Two 10×10 grids, five ships each: Carrier (5), Dreadnought (4), Frigate (3), Submarine (3), Corvette (2) • Place your fleet by hand, or tap Shuffle • Take turns calling shots: hit, miss, sunk • Sink the whole enemy fleet first to win

COMPUTER OPPONENTS • Cadet fires mostly at random. Good for a first game. • Captain sweeps the sea in a pattern and hunts down every hit until the ship goes under. • Admiral plays the odds, weighing every spot your ships could still be hiding. Part of the Admiral's Pack.

PASS & PLAY Two players, one device. Each of you deploys a fleet in secret, then you trade shots. The boards disappear between turns, so no peeking.

PLAY ONLINE Take turns with a friend anywhere through Game Center. Invite a friend or get matched with another player, move whenever you like, and you'll be told when it's your turn. Keep several games going at once, and give one up whenever you like. Online games use the classic rules.

ADMIRAL'S PACK (OPTIONAL IN-APP PURCHASE) One purchase, yours for good: the Admiral opponent plus Salvo mode, where each turn you fire one shot for every ship you have left, against the computer or in Pass & Play. No subscription. Restore it any time from inside the game. Family Sharing works too. Everything else is free.

SIGHTS, SOUNDS AND FEEL • A moonlit ocean that moves under every screen, with glints on the waves • Detailed warships seen from above; sunk ones become burnt-out wrecks • Shells arc from your ships into enemy waters, then splash or blaze • A 3D film of every enemy ship you sink, and a victory film when you win • Fireworks when you win. When you lose, the sea floods in. • Win to earn up to three stars for accuracy • Synthesized sound effects on every shot, plus haptics on iPhone

PLAYS YOUR WAY • VoiceOver reads out every square, ship and result • Tap to skip any film, or turn the films off on the home screen. With Reduce Motion on, they're skipped. • Sound toggle on the home screen, and Silent mode mutes it too • Solo and Pass & Play work fully offline: on a plane, at the beach, anywhere

YOUR PRIVACY No ads, no analytics, no tracking and no account of our own. Online play runs on Apple's Game Center, and we don't run any servers.
