Masoc: Photo & Video Editor

masoc. Master of Colors.

A fresh take on pro photo editing. Rebuilt from the ground up for iPhone, iPad and Mac: fast, beautiful and precise down to the last value. The photo is the hero, and everything else gets out of its way.

JUST SAY IT Type or speak what you want in your own words, and Smart Edit sets the sliders for you. Every change shows up as a chip you can open, adjust or take back. Ask for a darker sky, and it adds the mask too.*

MASKS THAT SEE Subject, sky and background are found on your device in one tap. Add linear, radial and brush masks, combine them in a chain to add or subtract, and give each mask its own adjustments.

YOUR LOOK, ONE TAP 22 built-in looks inspired by classic slide, negative and black-and-white film, each with its own intensity. Import your own .cube LUTs, bring your .xmp presets along, and take your own presets back out as .xmp.

BLUR, AFTER THE SHOT Depth from a single photo, computed on your device. Tap anywhere to set the focus, and the lights behind your subject open into soft discs.

EVERY VALUE, YOURS • Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites and blacks • White balance in true Kelvin on RAW, with a neutral picker • Tone curve with free points on RGB and every channel • Color mixer for eight bands, color grading and calibration • Texture, clarity, structure, dehaze, glow, grain and vignette • Sharpening, noise reduction and lens corrections • Crop, straighten, perspective and Auto Upright Every slider shows its real value. Slow your drag for finer steps, or type an exact number.

PRO FEATURES, BUILT IN • RAW from most cameras, including Apple ProRAW • Log video: grade Apple Log and eleven more camera profiles with the same tools • Panorama and HDR merge, right on your device • Retouch: remove, heal and clone • Censor faces, plates and text with pixelate, blur or fill • Copy and paste edits across a whole batch • Export as HEIC, JPEG or PNG in Display P3, sRGB or Adobe RGB

FRAME IT. SYNC IT. Lay a clean border or an instant film frame around the finished photo. Turn on iCloud sync, and your photos, edits and presets follow you between iPhone, iPad and Mac.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, no tracking. Masks, depth, retouching and Smart Edit run on your device and work offline. iCloud sync stays off until you turn it on, and then it uses your own private iCloud. masoc has no server of its own.

ONE APP, EVERY SCREEN The same tools on iPhone, iPad and Mac. On iPhone they sit below the photo, on iPad and Mac they stand beside it. The Mac app is native, with a real menu bar, keyboard control for every slider and hover previews for looks.

BUILT WITH YOU masoc is made by one independent developer who reads every message. Several features came straight from the wishes of beta testers.
