Sassy Monkeys: Logic Puzzles

Meet the Sassy Monkeys: flat faces, cheeky looks, a little bit punchable and very, very cute. They live in puzzle parks, they have opinions about everything, and they are watching every move you make.

You never have to guess. In Back Off! and Hangry! every level has exactly one solution: look closely, reason it out one step at a time, and the answer shows itself. In Outta My Way! and Can't Stop! the challenge is to finish in as few moves as possible.

FOUR PARKS, 2,000 LEVELS

Back Off! (500 levels) These monkeys need their personal space. Put exactly one monkey in every row, every column and every colored turf, and no two monkeys may touch, not even diagonally. Tap once to drop a banana (it means "no monkey here"), tap again for a stone (a note to yourself: "I think a monkey goes here"), a third tap clears it, and press and hold to place a monkey. The first three levels drop helper bananas for you, and in level 1 the Gramps walks you through it step by step.

Hangry! (500 levels) A hungry monkey is a grumpy monkey. Drag a vine from each monkey to the banana of the same color. Vines can't cross, and every square on the board has to be filled. Monkeys who haven't reached their banana yet are mad about it, and they let you know.

Outta My Way! (500 levels) Eek is pushing a banana cart home, and a bunch of snoozing, sprawling monkeys are lying across the road. Drag each one aside, but they only slide the way they're lying: no turning, no squeezing past. Poke a sleepy one and it wakes up with a grumpy "huh?". Rocks don't budge at all. Clear a path and roll the cart out the exit. The screen shows the fewest moves possible, so you know how close you came to perfect.

Can't Stop! (500 levels) Eek stepped on a banana peel and now he can't stop: he slides in one direction until he bumps into something. Land him right on the banana, because sliding past it doesn't count. Mud is sticky and stops any monkey cold, and the other monkeys slide too, so use them as stoppers. The screen shows the fewest moves possible here as well.

ASK THE OLD MONKEY Stuck? The Gramps doesn't just hand you the answer. He tells you why, like "this turf has only one square left", so you learn the trick instead of just getting past the level. In Outta My Way! and Can't Stop! he lights up the best next move from wherever you are.

A SURPRISE EVERY 50 LEVELS Clear 50 levels in a park and a special monkey shows up to say something: the Banana Guru, the Grumpy Monkey, the Monkey King and more. Some cheer you on, some make fun of you, some read your fortune. Collect them all in the Monkey Album.
