FolderView - Photo Gallery

Your folders deserve a better gallery.

FolderView turns photo and video folders from Files into visual albums. Connect a folder from On My iPhone, iCloud Drive, or a compatible Files provider, and browse your media without importing it into Apple Photos or duplicating your full-resolution originals.

BROWSE BY FOLDER See your collections as albums with cover images and media counts. Keep your existing folder structure, give albums friendly display names, and choose whether to include subfolders.

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS, TOGETHER Browse everything in a folder or filter to photos or videos. Sort by name or date, and explore your collection by years, months, or all items. A dedicated Videos collection brings videos from your connected folders together.

ENJOY EVERY DETAIL Open media full screen, swipe between items, zoom into details, and navigate with the thumbnail filmstrip. Play videos, share selected files, view file information, or save a copy to Apple Photos when you choose.

FAVORITES WITHOUT EXTRA COPIES Keep favorites from different folders in one collection. Favorites reference your original files without moving or duplicating them.

MADE FOR LARGE COLLECTIONS Background indexing and optimized thumbnails make large folders easier to browse. Full-resolution media loads when needed, with progress shown while a folder is being prepared.

YOUR FILES, YOUR CONTROL Refresh after files change, reconnect unavailable folders, and export or restore your app configuration. Removing an album disconnects it from FolderView without deleting its files. Deleting a photo or video is a separate action that deletes the original file after confirmation.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking. FolderView does not upload your media to developer-operated servers. Optional iCloud configuration sync keeps supported organization settings in sync; it is not a backup of your original media.

FolderView supports image and video formats that your version of iOS can read. iCloud Drive and other Files providers may need a network connection to retrieve media. Folder access can require reconnection after a move or device change. Full Live Photo playback is not supported.
