Lotería Book

The classic Mexican picture-card game, brought to life, and specially designed for iPhone Duo.

Every one of the 54 cards — El Gallo, La Dama, La Sirena, La Muerte, El Sol and the rest — is illustrated and animated in 3D. A real cantor calls each card the traditional way, with its verse, in Spanish. Mark your tabla with beans, watch your opponents close in, and shout ¡Lotería! the moment your pattern is complete.

SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR iPHONE DUO • Open the phone and the game spreads across both screens: the caller on one side of the fold, your tabla on the other • The 3D cards pop up off the page as you open the phone • In Tú eres el Cantor, close the phone and open it again to call the next card, like turning over a real one • Folded, the whole game fits on the cover screen

PLAY YOUR WAY • One round, or a five-round night with points for every win • Chorro, Cuatro Esquinas, Centrito, Marco and Tabla Llena • Escalera climbs from the easiest pattern to Tabla Llena; Al azar shuffles them • Choose your tabla, and keep a favorite • Three opponents with their own styles: Doña Chona never misses a card, Tío Beto takes his time, La Abuelita has lucky streaks

WHO CALLS THE CARDS • Gritón: the cards are called for you, at a relaxed, normal or fast pace • Tú eres el Cantor: you call each card yourself

ALSO • Plays on every iPhone • Menus in English or Spanish; the game itself stays in Spanish, with English hints • Leave mid-game and pick up right where you left off • A dancing fiesta when you win the night • No ads, no accounts, works offline, and no data collected
