Lapse Studio gives time-lapse creators direct control over how a scene is captured and delivered.

Use Quick Video when you want a finished, silent video without processing hundreds of separate photos. Choose the supported rear lens, recording quality and playback speed, frame the scene, then record. Speeds below 1× slow motion; higher speeds compress long changes into a shorter video.

Create multiple scheduled recording periods for sunsets, construction, renovation, art, weather and other changing scenes. Activate the schedule once and monitor every period from a single list. For reliable scheduled capture, keep Lapse Studio visible and the iPhone unlocked.

Use Pro Sequence when you want individual source images and more control. Set an interval and frame limit, use supported manual exposure, focus and white-balance controls, and capture optional RAW files when the selected camera supports them. Verify saved originals, create an on-device preview video or export a source archive for desktop editing.

Recording capabilities depend on the selected iPhone camera and format. Long recordings work best with a tripod, external power and adequate free storage. Leaving the app or locking the phone stops active capture and deactivates an armed schedule.
