Linger AI is an alarm app for iPhone that works out the latest wake time that still gets you to your leaving point on time, using your own measured mornings. It times the gap between the alarm and leaving home with a geofence, and an on-device language model explains patterns such as which days you snooze. One notable feature is that it reads your calendar and flags early appointments, while the alarm itself is always set from your own data rather than from the model.

What you know is when you have to be somewhere. Linger AI takes that, works backwards, and sets the latest alarm that still gets you there.

Then it starts learning. And every morning it learns, it gives you more of them back.

WHAT THE LEARNING DOES

Linger AI runs a language model on your phone. It reads the record of your own mornings and tells you what it found: that every Monday carries a snooze and no Friday does.

On your first morning it knows nothing about you, so it is cautious and holds six minutes back. On the second it holds four. By the third it has seen enough of your real spread to stop padding at all, and those minutes become sleep.

The model never sets your alarm. That number comes from your measured mornings, on purpose: a model can be wrong by an hour and sound certain. It reads, it explains, it offers you one thing to change.

HOW IT MEASURES

Two moments, both exact, neither of which you record.

The alarm going off. It is our alarm, so the time is precise and snoozes are counted.

Leaving home. A geofence around one point, your home, notices the door.

The gap between them is your real morning. Ask anyone and they will say twenty minutes. Almost nobody is right.
