AI PicScrub

AI PicScrub removes AI-provenance metadata from your photos: the hidden tags that record which AI tool created or edited an image. The picture itself is left untouched.

Many AI image generators and editors write this information into the file: C2PA Content Credentials, IPTC "digital source type" tags, and the names of the tools used. Some social networks read these tags and add an "AI info" label to your post, even when AI only touched up a small part of a real photo, like removing a passerby. AI PicScrub lets you decide what your photos say about how they were made.

WHAT IT KEEPS • The image, exactly. Nothing is re-compressed or converted, so there's no quality loss. • All other metadata: capture date, location, camera and lens details, and HDR. • Your originals. Cleaned copies are added to your library next to them, with the same date and location.

HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose photos from your library. 2. See exactly which AI tags each one contains. 3. Share a cleaned copy directly, or save them all to your library.

Every cleaned copy is checked before it's offered. If a tag can't be removed, you'll see an error instead of a copy that's still tagged.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens on your device. AI PicScrub has no account, no analytics and no internet connection. Your photos never leave your iPhone or iPad.

Works with JPEG, HEIC and PNG photos.

AI PicScrub removes metadata only. It doesn't change any pixels, so it can't remove watermarks that are part of the image itself.
