Dots is the classic pen-and-paper dots game, now on your phone. Place dots on the grid, close a chain around your opponent’s dots and capture them. The rules take a minute to learn; the strategy keeps you coming back.
HOW TO PLAY • Players take turns placing a dot on a line intersection. • Neighbouring dots of the same colour link horizontally, vertically and diagonally into a chain. • Close a chain around your opponent’s dots: the area is filled in and those dots count for you. • Whoever captures more dots wins.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY • Against the computer — three difficulty levels, from a relaxed game to a real challenge. • With a friend nearby — pass the device back and forth and play on one screen. • Online — create a game and send a friend the code, a link or a QR code.
