MeterFolio: Meter Swap Log

MeterFolio is a focused photo and protocol app for meter swaps. Built for electricians, metering contractors and field technicians who replace, install or remove electricity, water and heat meters – and need complete documentation for every job.

THE PROBLEM One photo is missing, the meter number is unreadable, the seal number is on a scrap of paper – and the utility asks for it again. MeterFolio makes sure everything is captured before you leave the meter.

HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a job: scan or type the work order number and add the location. 2. Pick a template: it defines which photos and entries are required. 3. Guided photos: old meter before, number & reading, installation, new meter, seals – step by step, with a flashlight button for dark meter cabinets. 4. Scan meter and seal numbers: barcodes and text are recognized on the device – you always see the value and confirm it before it is saved. 5. Completeness check: shows clearly what is still missing. It checks completeness, not technical correctness. 6. Export: one ZIP with a PDF protocol, CSV and JSON, the unaltered original photos and SHA-256 checksums. Share via Mail, Files or AirDrop.

TEMPLATES FOR EVERY CLIENT Built in: electricity meter swap, water meter swap, heat meter swap, meter removal, meter installation. With Pro you create your own templates – with exactly the photos and entries your utility or client requires – and share them as a file with your team.

OFFLINE AND PRIVATE • We collect no data. • No account, no sign-in. • All data stays on your iPhone – even in a basement without signal. • No ads, no tracking. • Backup as a ZIP file in the Files app. • MeterFolio never communicates with the meter.

FREE AND PRO 3 jobs are free – with every feature to try. MeterFolio Pro (monthly or yearly; the yearly plan includes 14 days free for eligible new subscribers) unlocks: • unlimited jobs • your own templates: create, import and share • company name and logo on the PDF protocol • batch export of several jobs with an overview CSV Your jobs always stay readable and exportable – even if you cancel.

The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Apple Account settings.
