Your table. Any time.
Settle in for Texas 42, the classic trick-taking domino game where a good bid, a well-timed trump, and a little partnership strategy can turn the hand.
Northgate 42 brings the game to your iPhone with warm green felt, ivory dominoes, and computer players ready when you are. Whether you've played for years or you're finding your feet at the table, there's room for you here.
THE GAME YOU CAME TO PLAY Draw your dominoes, make your bid, name trump, and play for seven marks. Team up with a computer partner against two computer opponents for a full game of Texas 42 on your own schedule.
A LITTLE HELP WHEN YOU WANT IT Not sure whether to bid or pass? Ask the bidding coach for a second opinion. Weighing your next move? See a suggested play and the reasoning behind it. Keep the guidance close while you learn, or play your own hand.
SEE HOW THE HAND UNFOLDED Open trick history to review the dominoes played and the points won. Track your game and bidding statistics as you build experience.
MAKE THE TABLE YOUR OWN Choose colored or traditional pips, adjust music and sound effects, and highlight legal plays.
ROOTED IN A REAL FIRST HAND Northgate is where I first played 42. This app carries that connection forward: a familiar Texas game, a welcoming table, and a reason to stay for another hand.
No ads. No subscriptions.
Good games. Good company. Northgate 42.
