Stickler: Proof It's Done

Stickler asks for proof from the thing itself: scan the sticker on the pill box, the barcode on the package, tap an NFC tag, or take a photo of the lock that your phone compares with your reference photo. Every proof becomes a receipt with the exact time.

FOUR WAYS TO PROVE IT • Stickler stickers: print a sheet from the app and put one on the thing. • The barcode that's already on the package, nothing to print. • NFC tags the app writes itself. • Photo match: a new photo is compared with the reference photo, entirely on your iPhone.

LOCKED OR UNLOCKED, ON OR OFF Take one photo of what it looks like when it's done and one when it isn't, like locked and unlocked. Then the proof has to look more like "done" than "not done", and the receipt shows both scores.

RECEIPTS THAT ANSWER "DID I?" The Did I? tab shows the last proof for every thing: when, how, and the photo. The same answer is in a Lock Screen widget and in Siri: "Check front door in Stickler".

ALREADY DONE? Scan the same thing again shortly after and Stickler shows "Already proven" with the time, instead of logging it again.

CALM CHECKING Do you tend to check again and again? Turn on Calm checking and you get a gentle note that nothing has changed, instead of more reassurance.

SCHEDULED PROOF • Pick a time and the thing that proves it. Stickler keeps asking until the proof comes in. • Three levels: gentle, persistent, or an alarm that rings through silent mode. • Stopping the alarm isn't enough. Only proof from the thing ends it. • Strict mode: only a scan, a tag or a matching photo counts.
